Sangria

Adapted from David Lieberman’s sangria recipe

1 lemon

1 lime

1 orange

2 cups rum
2/3 cup sugar

750 ml (milliliters) red wine

1 cup orange juice

Thinly slice the lemon, lime and orange into paper thin sliced and place the fruit in a large pitcher. Pour in the rum and sugar and chill for 2 hours (for flavors to develop).

When ready to serve, stir well, breaking up the fruit a bit with a wooden spoon and add the wine and orange juice. Serve well chilled.
