Kiwi Habanero Glazed Pork Chops

with Mango Avocado Salsa

Pork Chops

4   6oz. Boneless Pork Loin Chops

2   Tbsp. Elysian Isle Manuka Honey, melted

1   Tbsp. Elysian Isle Kiwi Habanero Sauce

          (more can be added if desired)

2   Tsp. Elysian Isle Avocado Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Method

  • Place the first 4  ingredients together in a gallon ziplock bag.
  • Close bag and work the glaze into the chops; let sit at room temp for one hour or up to four hours in the refrigerator.
  • Remove pork from bag, season with light sprinkling of salt and freshly ground pepper.
  • Grill on a preheated indoor grill pan or outdoor grill until internal temperature of chop is 140°F.

 

Serve with Mango Avocado Salsa and a small Green Salad for a refreshing summer dinner.

 

Mango Avocado Salsa

1    large ripe mango, diced small

1    large ripe avocado, diced small

2    Tbsp., about 1 large shallot, chopped fine

2    Tbsp., about 1 large jalapeno, seeded and diced

1    Tsp Elysian Isle Manuka Honey

1    Tbsp Elysian Isle Avocado Oil

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Blend all ingredients together, taste, adjust if needed.
